The Monastery houses a wonderful collection of santons (figurines) most of them sculpted by the santons maker Simone Jouglas (1907-2001).

“Santons have a soul, a santons soul, a soul of “little saints”. They are born out of clay, out of our land’s ocher hues; our own earth so gentle and flexible. Through them and because of them this clay has become a voice. Word and parable, about love, tenderness, trust, about hope and liberation.” click

How would we refer to animality and sociability?

On a different note some of the shapes remind me of Dr. Seuss, what do you think?

A cape and sword novel
Condom in Armagnac/Condom upon Baise,  one of the two centers of the Ténarèze: one of the three terroirs (plantation areas) in the Armagnac region of France where grapes for the distillation of the Armagnac eau-de-vie takes place.

We can’t escape the motto “"One for all and all for one!” when we speak about "The three musketeers” by Alexandre Dumas (author of The Count of Monte Cristo.)
One can recognize: the courageous d’Artagnan, the sensitive Athos, the strong and reliable Portos and the poet and faithful Aramis.
