Les tombes de Bernard Marrot (1855-1920) et de sa mère se trouvent au bord des jardins de Monlong.
Bernard Marrot, conseiller général de la Haute-Garonne et maire adjoint de Toulouse, légua le domaine à l’Institut Agricole de Toulouse en 1920. Aujourd’hui la propriété appartient à un particulier et ne couvre plus que 6 000 mètres carrés alors qu’elle couvrait au départ 40 hectares.
Un signe à l’extérieur, daté de mars 2013, annonce la création de logements aux pieds du château…
Bernard Marrot and his mother’s graves are located at the edge of the Gardens of Monlong.
Bernard Marrot, a general councilor for Haute-Garonne and deputy mayor, left the property to the Agricultural Institute of Toulouse in 1920. The property today is private owned and covers 1.5 acre compared to the original 100 acres.
There is a public sign outside the property, dated March 2013, announcing a housing project at the foot of the castle…
