Sur la clé d’un des arcs de fenêtres du premier étage du Capitole, au-dessous d’un des deux balcons qui portent les armes de la ville, une chouette trône au-dessus d’un mascaron*. Y aurait-il un rapport avec Athena ?
On dit que les mascarons tiennent le rôle de protecteurs qui éloignent les mauvais esprits.

On the second floor, at the apex of one of the windows' arches, underneath a balcony, one of the only two bearing the city's coat of arms, there is an owl sitting on top of the mascaron. Has it anything to do with Athena?
It is said that the mascarons are seen as protectors who chase bad spirits.
