Je tire mon chapeau à Tilia pour son don de nous faire partager l’art et les faces cachées des tableaux qu’elle nous présente semaine après semaine. Dans son commentaire du week-end dernier Tilia m’a fait découvrir que ce cône de signalisation s’appelait à l’origine un cône de Lubeck. Le nom allemand « Lübecker Hütchen »  le rend d'autant plus sympathique.

I take my hat off to Tilia for the way she uses her skills to share with us the hidden sides of the paintings she is presenting to us week after week. Last weekend in her comment she taught me that this traffic cone was originally called a “Lubeck’s cone.” The German name for it is “Lübecker Hütchen”  makes it sound even more charming.
